Places to go, things to do

Utah
I moved to Utah when I was 10years old. Forty years later safe to say Utah is home for me. It’s where I really grew up, raised my kids, adventured deserts and mountains alike. It’s where I come back to .

Domestic
When I starting traveling as a guide other colleagues set their sites on getting out of the U.S. I get it and eventually did it too however, not until I explored state after state via plane, train, or automobile.

International
I have traveled abroad near and far. My first trip out of the country was in college. It was magical. Taking in a new culture, a new language, a new way to exist on this planet. At the end of every adventure taking something with you, a memory at the very least if not a photograph, or piece to commemorate for years to come.
UTAH
The amazing and wonderful thing about Utah if you don’t already know, it’s one of those places you can ski in the morning and bike in the afternoon if you play your cards right. So many different ecosystems to call your playground from mountains to deserts and everything in between. I started guiding adventures here as it was my backyard and stomping grounds. I taught classes for the University of Utah for nearly 10 years all over the state. If you like to hike, bike, climb, paddle, ski…”This is the place” for you!
DOMESTIC
I have been fortunate enough to have driven across this great country multiple times for work. So many interesting treasures to check out along the way and each time I did I chose a different route to see even more of it. I’ve also guided in several different states including Alaska for multiple adventures. Part of my travels always included learning the local history that is often times overlooked.
IINTERNATIONAL
My very first time out of the country was when I did a study abroad in college. I lived and went to school in Switzerland. It was an incredible experience. The Suisse were kind and forgiving of my poor french, but the longer I was there the better it seemed to get. Immersing myself in another culture was fascinating. I learned so much about the way another community lived on the other side of this planet, it had me hooked and wanting more.
