Transform your space with a mural, a piece of art, flowers. You don’t have to go big to feel at home. In all of my travels for work I often would spend weeks if not months at a time hopping from one hotel room to the next, or have a room in a shared space. What made it feel like home were things like a photograph, a small plant, my journal, and a good book or two. If I had the opportunity to pick my bedding that always helped too. I learned to use things I wore as decor to define my space as well. When not wearing a hat it was displayed as decor on a shelf, the wall, or the headboard of the bed.
